The idea of two gifted heavy metal musicians isn't that compelling, but when those musicians are twelve years old and come from a community that is not at all connected to metal culture, that's worth a second look. This is an incredibly short documentary about Unlocking the Truth, a talented metal duo whose members are, quite surprisingly, both Black and hail from a distinctly rap-oriented inner-city neighborhood. What's more, they are gifted! This is proof that people can belong to a community but still be unique individuals with their own ideas and aspirations.
