At Comdex 1998, one of the largest technology trade shows, Microsoft CEO and Founder Bill Gates was on the receiving end of a demonstration of certain features of Windows 98 (along hundreds of audience members) when tragedy hits. The infamous "Blue Screen of Death" is perhaps the worst thing any Windows user can encounter -- a massive error from which there is little to no chance of recovery.
