This advertisement for Direct TV satellite service rubbed a few people the wrong way because it created a virtual environment where old footage of now deceased comedian Chris Farley was spliced in with new footage with David Spade. Many felt that using a dead person to sell a product through clever technology was just wrong, but the ad has been viewed over three million times now. There's no such thing as bad publicity, apparently.
